We are hoping for good weather on the day, but please bring protective clothing in case it rains.

Please wear appropriate footwear for the towpath.

Please bring sun cream and a hat if it is a hot day.

Please bring blister packs.

Please carry an adequate supply of water with you.

We advise you to bring a mobile phone with you.

Apart from the normal emergency services, help can be provided by the event stewards or by ringing 07943 378400 and support will be sent from Goytre Wharf.

Please be aware that mobile phone reception can be patchy along the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal. Download the App “What Three Words” which can be used to give your exact location to third parties.

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult and will be issued with a wristband and must wear it at all times.

The canal is accessible by wheelchairs or push chairs.

Dogs are welcome on the walk. Please ensure that dogs are kept on a lead during your walk.
